Millenary wisdom, from Plato to Shakespeare, reminds us:
“Know yourself” and “Be true to yourself,” or be whole.
“Integrity” means being yourself, so that our actions are consistent with our higher goals;
so that our body, our mind, our emotions and attitudes
are complementary to each other, forming a whole that is greater than the sum of the parts.
But it makes no sense to talk about integrity until we unconditionally accept Who We Are,
stopping trying to be – in vain – who we hope or pretend to be,
with the consistency and courage to give the world the Truth about ourselves.
