Life is a movie – 1

When something happens to me that makes me feel bad, that makes me suffer, I tend to analyze it mentally. What should I do instead?
Observe what’s happening, recognize that are the programs, and observe within yourself what you’re ready to transmute. What’s outside isn’t real: it’s a projection of what’s happening inside you. So the sooner you observe what’s happening as if you were at the cinema watching a movie, the sooner you’ll recognize the program that’s ready to be transmuted. Is this clear to you?
No, not much.
You said, “Something happens and I process it with my mind.” Instead of processing it with your mind, imagine replaying what’s happening as if on a movie screen, like a film. That film is bringing you your own programs. You are projecting outside yourself what you don’t see inside yourself.
Therefore, observe, remembering that everything is You, that what you are experiencing is your projection; it is not against you, but for you. Only remembering these things and making them your own will bring you to the point of going beyond the event itself. But as long as you observe it, evaluate it, analyze it mentally or psychologically, you will remain separate from that event and therefore will not recognize it as yours.
