Desire for independence
I don’t understand why I have such difficulty finding my independence. Because, although time does not exist, I have tried for many years to go and live alone or at least to be independent, but I can’t: it seems that there is always something against me, even though I know that it is not so.
What you call “independence” is in Reality again a desire for separation, since you do not seek the Real independence, that is “not depend”, but seek the satisfaction of the desire to prove yourself to be “able to …”. While the first is an action in “verso”, the second is in “via da”. In your search for independence you are dependent on external factors, feeling helpless victim. Your independence is born inside you, not outside: you confuse “living alone” with independence.
