I’ve realized that in general I’m attracted to guys who tend to be depressed\u2026<\/p>\n

Everything you illusorily observe outside of yourself in Reality tells you about Who You Really Are, about the relationship between the \u201clittle self\u201d and the True Self.<\/span><\/p>\n

So the attraction to depression in relationships tells you that on a deep level you believe you have no \u201cpressure\u201d to live in the Oneness of I Am. So you are giving yourself the opportunity to see that, although your knowledge and belief in the Fundamental Truth it’s profound: you don’t believe you have enough resources (and therefore enough “pressure”) to manifest yourself at your highest level. Your attitude is one of “I’m trying, but I can’t.” <\/span>
\nDo you understand what I mean?<\/span><\/p>\n

Yes.<\/p>\n

So, the depression of the boy, or the boys who attract your attention is precisely the manifestation of the need to pay attention to the state of awareness that you Are in a “doing to be” approach.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, “I can’t, I can’t do it, I don’t have enough resources to…” is the denial of being the I Am, since The I Am is everything: it is Love, passion, pressure, unity, grace, joy, presence: all the adjectives you attribute to the God that You Are, It\u2019s You. Therefore, you cannot be lacking, nor insufficient, nor defective, nor do you have to work to achieve. This, however, is the belief that is still rooted at this stage of your Path, and it is the one that manifests itself in your relative reality.<\/span><\/p>\n
