You need to move beyond the idea that what happens in your life is a punishment. All is One; this One is You, and You are incarnated in the form of which you are aware in order to undergo an experience. This experience is created and chosen by you in every moment from the Infinite Possibilities already available to you, for everything already exists.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, clinging to the idea that what is happening is a punishment for having made a mistake keeps you in the position of a victim\u2014someone who bears no responsibility for events yet finds themselves enduring punishment for having lost their way. But that is not Real.<\/span><\/p>\n

What happens in life is the manifestation of your state of awareness and of what you believe; it is not punitive, but simply a mirror of what has been created at a deep level, of what is vibrating at a deep level. Therefore, it is not a punishment: the True Self is not punishing the Small Self, for they are not two, but One. Thus, the One does not punish itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

You need to view events from a different perspective. Observe what is happening and examine its elements. But before that, observe your state of awareness: what are you feeling? What do you think about yourself ,about recognizing who you are and where you are going? For if you observe this honestly, you understand what the event is communicating to you\u2014guiding you to recognize the Divinity that You Are, and thus to walk through your earthly experience in alignment with the Divinity that You Are.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, what events bring to your attention is your disbelief, your doubts, and your fears regarding recognizing your own Divinity. This is the state that accompanies you, for, distracted by what your senses reveal, you lose sight of Who You Really Are and your purpose for incarnating; engrossed in living life, you become hypnotized by it. Consequently, the external becomes important, or at least more important, than what you feel deep within.<\/span><\/p>\n
