I can’t forgive

Why do I feel anger toward the people who hurt me—regarding the abuse I suffered, my ex-husband…? I can’t seem to forgive. Why can’t I forgive and let go?

Observe this: by experiencing who you are not, that is, abandonment, suffering, abuse, inadequacy, and everything you perceive as lacking in your life (all of which served as experiences for you)—you became accustomed (since this marked the initial stretch of your journey) to viewing Life solely through the lens of “earthly experiences,” and thus through separation.

There was you, and there was something else outside of you—something that took on various forms, bringing you messages of lack, inadequacy, judgment, and condemnation, placing you in the role of “victim” while a “perpetrator” was always present. So, your habit is to observe Life through the eyes of the “Little Self”, a victim of external circumstances.

Now you are ready to lift your gaze, to shift out of the “victim” role, and to observe the game that has been created, a game that is not Real but illusory, and which you are ready to transcend. Therefore, there is no one to forgive, for there is no one outside of you; there is no one who has done anything to you, since You Are the Absolute, the All that composes the All. Yet, what you perceive as pain, suffering, inadequacy, anger, frustration, or resentment relates to your dense bodies. But these dense bodies are illusory; while they allow you to undergo the earthly experience, you are not your dense bodies. Or rather, you are your dense bodies in your incarnate form, but your True Essence is Divine. Do you understand what I mean?

Yes

Now, to transcend and move beyond what you have experienced so far, it does not serve you to keep your attention on the past, because the past does not exist in reality, just as the future does not exist. What *is* is the Here and Now. And I ask you: is anyone abusing you at this very moment?

No

Is there someone accusing you right now?

No

Is there someone hurting you right now?

No

So, all of this is illusory. The only moment that *truly* exists is the Here and Now, and in the Here and Now, you are in contact, in communication, and in flow with Who You Truly Are. Is that clear to you?

Yes

So, what happens when you interrupt communication with Who You Really Are? Everything you’ve already experienced comes flooding back to you.

Put your attention in the Here and Now, smile, breathe, give thanks: what has happened has allowed you to be at this level of awareness today, and therefore it’s functional for you on your Path of Expansion, not dramatic or unsolvable. When you observe with these eyes, you realize that there’s no ex-husband, no childhood situation, or Real adolescence, but merely communications: communications regarding one’s attitude toward Life (shown to you by your ex-husband), regarding the concrete nature of the earthly realm (shown to you by your mother), regarding your need for external validation (shown to you by your father), and regarding the mapped-out, the known, the already-experienced, and the fraternal (shown to you by brothers, sisters, friends, and close friends). Do you understand what I mean? There is nothing real outside of you, only tools of communication. Do you see what I mean? There is nothing *Real* outside of you, only instruments of communication.
