Stay there
I work as a massage therapist. I took a training course for the job and am continuing to pursue it. Why is it that, even though I do this work out of passion, and don’t even charge very much, so many things happen to hold me back? I injured my hand and now need surgery; I have foot pain that often prevents me from working.
In Reality, it is not a matter of “why”, since there is no cause-and-effect relationship, but rather something I invite you to observe: you are in the flow while you work, while you give through your hands, and you feel fulfilled, serene, and centered.
But immediately afterwards (and sometimes even “immediately before”), your attention shifts to: “I hope this goes well… What if this person isn’t happy? Am I charging too little? Or too much? Who knows if they’ll come back”. All these mental processes block the flow, hey block the flow of your progress, of your stride (and that is the pain in the foot); they block the fluidity of your relationship with Who You Truly Are (and that is the pain in the hand).
So you see, it is not what you do but how you do it that makes the difference, for everything happens within you and nothing happens outside of you. Therefore, the more you follow the flow from within, ceasing to follow mental processes that keep you anchored in the past (since every thought is based on what you have already experienced, creating fears about a future that does not exist, given that within Infinite Possibilities all futures already are), and the more you remain in the Here and Now, the more everything begins to flow again.
You are the Divine Being experiencing earthly life, and the only truly existing moment is the Here and Now: stay there.
