I would like to know what my role is in this life.

For you, as for any human being, the goal is to experience who you are not, in order to rediscover Who You Are and, from that moment on, live in alignment with that rediscovered Truth. Therefore, everything you encounter on your Path serves the realization of your Awakening; along the way, you come across situations, talents, and impulses that bring you closer to Awakening and to living in alignment with your True Nature, which is not “human nature,” for You Are a Divine Being having a human experience.
Is that clear to you?

No.

Many people in the earthly experience seek a life purpose, a specific mission to fulfill. But in Reality, the only true mission is to rediscover oneself as a Divine Being, for all is One, and therefore, that One is You. Missions and earthly purposes are merely means. Yet, because You Are the One, there are Infinite Possibilities. Thus, your purpose is not “what you do,” but rather “how you do what you do” that makes the difference.
